A brief overview of the different integrative medical systems that we offer are
presented as follows:
1. Holistic Medical Consultation
This involves one on one interaction of the patient with the holistic medical pratitioner, taking into consideration the body, mind and spirit. Integrating the theoretical frameworks of integrative medicine, these sessions focus as much on the person who is facing a health challenge as the health challenge being faced.
2. Electroacupuncture
This involves the use of a machine invented by E. Voll, a german homeopath. This machine is based on the concept of the traditional chinese acupuncture. This machine gives us the freedom to examine a patient in another view. The energetic function of every organ in the body will be examined by means of acupuncture control measurement points located in the hands and feet.
3. Nutritional Therapy / Cellular Medicine approach
This is based on the science that health is determined at the level of cells, not at the level of organs. It involves the prescription of good quality nutritional supplements. In selected cases, it involves the intravenous infusion of vitamins and minerals.
4. Acupuncture
This involves the sticking of ultrafine sterile disposable needles to specific acupuncture points in order to remove the blockages to the meridians. These meridians are energetic highways in our bodies.
5. Biopuncture
This is relatively similar to acupuncture except that instead of using needles, a biological medicine is injected into specific acupuncture points.
6. Neural Therapy
This involves the injection of anesthetic agents to specific points, not for anesthesia but for resetting to normalcy the electrical potential of cell membranes.
7. Chelation Therapy
Free radicals are thought to be the final common pathway to such diverse degenerative conditions such as aging, atherosclerosis, senility, heart disease, cancer and other diseases. Once the free radical cascade is set in motion, it continues to increase in momentum. Chelation therapy helps to slow and dampen this cascade. In due course, this free radical effect can be arrested and reversed. A Clinical Metal Toxicologist is one who specializes in removing the toxic heavy metals in our system.
8. Bio-oxidative Therapy
This is a method of detoxifying the body, stimulating immunity and improving adaptation to chronic diseases. Several methods of bio-oxidative therapy are in use throughout the world. These include intravenous peroxide therapy, hyperbaric oxygen therapy and ozone therapy. We are using the intravenous (IV) peroxide therapy and intravenous medical ozone.
9. Rife Frequency Therapy
This pertains to the use of a machine patterned from the frequency machine invented by Royal Raymond Rife. Its mechanism is through the emission of oscillation frequencies that can antagonize the frequencies of microbial agents (bacteria, viruses and fungi) thereby leading to microbial die-off.
10. In-patient Natural Treatment Facility
- we refer patients who are interested in a more intensive in-patient lifestyle modification to Ananda Marga Wellness Center (www.AMWellness.org)
